NHS jobs cutbacks reaches 15,000 staff
Health Direct calculates that with the announcement of the loss of another 600 NHS staff at the Oxford Radcliffe NHS Trust last week, as part of its cost-reduction plan to help make £33m in savings- the total number of NHS jobs losses now totals 15,025.
No one- not even the Labour spin doctors, has yet to have the courage to publically try and explain how these thousands of NHS staff redundancies are helping the Labour govt to meet it’s promise of a maximum 18 week waiting target in only 2 years time.
The Health Direct blog was set up in 2004 to chronicle the sad decline of the NHS under Labour’s untested and unfunded mis- management. And we are getting increasingly worried at the scale of Labour’s self confessed NHS mismanagement.
